Basic Operation: Main Switch: OFF position disconnects the battery; ON position connects the battery. Please set to OFF when the machine is not in use for extended periods. POWER Button: Power button. Short press toggles power on/off. TUNING Knob: Rotate to adjust frequency. Short press toggles function; long press opens TMS and EQ settings. VOLUME Knob: Adjusts volume. SQL Button: Squelch control. BW Button: Short press in FM mode: Stereo/Mono switch. Long press in FM mode: Demodulation bandwidth switch (selectable between 56, 64, 72, 84, 97, 114, 133, 150, 168, 184, 200, 217, 236, 254, 287, 311kHz and AUTO BW). Alternatively, press and hold the BW button while rotating the TUNING knob to select. Short press in AM mode: Switches demodulation bandwidth (between 3, 4, 6, and 8 kHz). MODE button: Short press: Cycles between MAN (Manual Tuning), AUTO (Automatic Tuning), and MEM (Station Storage) modes. Long press: Opens the menu page. Red indicates that the channel is already stored, green indicates it is empty). Press the TUNING button again to complete the storage. Advanced Operation: Change encoder direction: Press and hold the BW button while powering on. Rotate screen: Press and hold the MODE button while powering on. Restore default settings: Press and hold the BW and TUNING buttons simultaneously while powering on.
