T-Deck Pro Overview:

The T-Deck Pro is an upgraded version of the original T-Deck, designed to offer enhanced connectivity, display options, and expanded functionality. The original T-Deck integrated ESP32-S3, LoRa, GPS, a microphone, TF card slot, speaker, battery with charging circuit, keyboard, trackball, and a 2.8-inch TFT display.

The T-Deck Pro introduces key improvements, including a 3.1-inch e-paper touchscreen, and the option to choose between a 4G module or PCM5102 Audio Version. It also adds a PMU chip, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a QWIIC interface for module expansion while removing the trackball.

To cater to different user needs, the T-Deck Pro is available in two versions:

    4G Version – Equipped with an A7682 4G module, ideal for remote communication, cloud server access, and IoT applications.

    PCM5102 Audio Version – Features a PCM5102 audio chip, enabling direct ESP32-S3-driven audio processing for enhanced voice applications and superior headphone functionality.

Setup Guide

Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.

Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.

Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.

Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
