The previous version I work with w7 but does not work with w10, I will not buy this product to test with w10, there are other adapters that work on both w versions. Why can't you make something that just works, not halfway ....

justchoose your arduino card and plug your FT232 to your arduino like this (i use an esp32 but it s quite the same): ARDUINO ---- FT232GND ---- GNDTX0 ---- RX0RX0 ---- TX0(VIN ----- VCC) Take care of your voltage but
                                                                                                                    aware of 3.3V or 5V. I prefer to put an USB to my arduino-ESP32 card if possible the intensity provided by FT232 seems to be too low sometimes.

I can't use the device. My win10 doesen't recognize the product. I see this message: unknown usb device. I tried  the FTDIchip drive manual install, but it didn't work. Can you help me?

while plugged in, go to the windows 10 settings and check for new updates. there will be a non-mandatory update called ftdi driver

When loaded FDTI driver supplier's lastest version, the software changes PID and PID values to 0000 if the chip is not genuine. How can I solve the problem and run this board again. Thank you.

FTDI was supposed to stop doing this after the last time they messed up the driver.  If the driver has in fact modified your VID/PID you should be able to get a utility that will restore the PID VID.
