I have as much use for -12V (negative) as I have a use for herpes, so instead I want to turn the negative into an additional +12V port. Can I just cut the negative wires and hotwire the pins on the connector instead? Any thoughts?

That's a pity! Doesn't have -5v bourne...-5v is very useful when working with opamp dual supply and there are many PS with it! I have one that I made and help a lot.

Is there posibility to turn conectors to back side of plate? Now is lil bit usless if you want to montage this in to box?

But The PSU was an odd use item from Dell.
