The TE Connectivity SM9235-BCE-S-300-000 pressure sensor combines cutting-edge MEMS technology with advanced CMOS mixed signal processing to deliver precise, digital pressure measurements in a compact SOIC-16 package. Designed for ultra-low pressure sensing up to 300 Pa, it offers exceptional accuracy with a total error band under 1% full scale after autozero calibration. With built-in temperature compensation and a 16-bit I2C digital interface, it simplifies integration by eliminating the need for external circuitry. Perfect for applications like CPAP devices, ventilators, HVAC systems, and gas flow measurement, this sensor ensures reliable, stable performance from -20°C to 85°C over its lifespan.

Note: Refer to datasheet in the ATTACHMENTS section for more info. regd. the product.

Features:

  1. Ultra-low pressure sensing with range 0–300 Pa
  2. Digital 16-bit I2C interface for easy integration
  3. High accuracy with <1% full-scale error band after autozero
  4. Temperature compensated for stable output across -20°C to 85°C
  5. Compact JEDEC standard SOIC-16 surface mount package
  6. Integrated MEMS transducer with signal conditioning ASIC

Package  Includes:

1 x TE Connectivity SM9235-BCE-S-300-000 Pressure Sensor, SMI, Gauge, 0 Pa, 300 Pa, 3 V, 5.5 V, SOIC

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
