WZ-S-K formaldehyde module from global detection expert DART SENSORS detection combines novel HCHO sensor with advanced electronic control technology, converting HCHO concentration into PPM directly. Once HCHO arrives at working electrode (anode) it is oxidized instantaneously to generate an electrical signal. The electrical signal is then acquired and processed by microprocessor into a PPM value and is output by standard digital signal. WZ-S-K HCHO module is pre-calibrated in the factory and can be integrated into your system directly

Features:

  1. Detection Principle: Micro fuel cell technology
  2. Detectable Gas: HCHO (formaldehyde)
  3. Detection Range: 0-2 ppm (overload up to 10 ppm)
  4. Precision: High accuracy in measuring HCHO concentrations
  5. Response Time (T90): < 40 seconds
  6. Recovery Time (T10): < 60 seconds
  7. Resolution: 0.001 ppm
  8. Operating Temperature Range: -20°C to 50°C
  9. Operating Humidity Range: 10% to 90% RH

Package include:

1 x DART SENSORS WZ-S-K Formaldehyde sensor detection range:0-2 ppm

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
