The Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-C5 is a compact development board (Pre-Soldered) based on the ESP32-C5HR8 chip, designed for modern IoT and wireless applications. It features a 32-bit RISC-V single-core processor running up to 240 MHz, along with integrated support for Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band), Bluetooth 5 Low Energy, and IEEE 802.15.4 for Zigbee and Thread connectivity.
The board includes 8MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM, providing sufficient memory for embedded applications and wireless networking stacks. It exposes up to 11 GPIO pins with support for ADC, I2C, SPI, UART, PWM, and other peripheral functions.
For hardware integration, it uses a compact XIAO form factor with castellated edges for surface-mount assembly. It also includes a U.FL antenna connector for external antennas, onboard battery charging support for Li-ion/LiPo batteries, and USB Type-C for power and programming.
This board is intended for IoT applications such as smart home devices, wireless sensor nodes, industrial monitoring, and connected embedded systems, especially where low power consumption and dual-band Wi-Fi performance are required.
