The Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-C5 is a compact development board (Pre-Soldered) based on the ESP32-C5HR8 chip, designed for modern IoT and wireless applications. It features a 32-bit RISC-V single-core processor running up to 240 MHz, along with integrated support for Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band), Bluetooth 5 Low Energy, and IEEE 802.15.4 for Zigbee and Thread connectivity.

The board includes 8MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM, providing sufficient memory for embedded applications and wireless networking stacks. It exposes up to 11 GPIO pins with support for ADC, I2C, SPI, UART, PWM, and other peripheral functions.

Setup Guide

Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.

Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.

Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.

Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
