The RakWireless Mini Base Board with Power Slot RAK19009 is a compact and modular Mini Base Board from RAKwireless’ WisBlock series, designed to support one WisBlock Core module and two Sensor modules, making it ideal for building space-efficient and scalable IoT solutions. Its key innovation lies in separating the power supply from the board itself, requiring a compatible Power Board such as the RAK19012 (USB, battery, and solar), RAK19013 (battery and solar only), RAK19014 (USB with non-rechargeable battery), RAK19015 (non-rechargeable battery only), RAK19016 (5–24V DC for industrial use), or RAK19017 (Power over Ethernet). With industrial-grade design, high-speed interconnectors ensuring signal integrity, and support for various low-power MCUs, the RAK19009 delivers flexibility and reliability in a minimal 30x37mm footprint.

Features :

  1. Compact size: as small as 30 x 37 mm
  2. Supports 1 WisBlock Core slot and 2 Sensor slots
  3. Modular design for flexible function expansion
  4. High-speed interconnection connectors for reliable signal integrity
  5. Compatible with multiple low-power MCUs
  6. Designed for industrial-level applications
  7. Power supply is modular and requires a separate Power Board

Package Includes :

1 x RakWireless Mini Base Board with Power Slot RAK19009

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
