The Pro-Range Hollow Clock is a minimalistic and modern timekeeping device designed for tech enthusiasts, students, and hobbyists interested in microcontroller-based automation and motion control. Using a 28BYJ-48 stepper motor driven by an Arduino Nano, the clock precisely tracks minutes with smooth, silent rotation. Its hollow design and transparent aesthetics make it both a decorative and functional piece for homes, offices, or educational displays.

Note: We have two types of motor drivers. We will ship either one based on stock availability. Both work the same.

Features:

  1. Accurate Time Movement: The clock moves one step per minute using precise control through the Arduino’s millis() function, ensuring reliable and drift-free operation.
  2. Silent Stepper Operation: The 28BYJ-48 stepper motor offers quiet, smooth movement, making it ideal for quiet environments such as bedrooms or study areas.
  3. Minimalist Hollow Design: The clock features a modern open-face layout with 3D-printed components for a futuristic look.
  4. Arduino Nano Powered: Uses the popular Arduino Nano board, making it easy to reprogram and upgrade.
  5. Battery Powered: Operates on a standard 9V battery for portability and wireless installation.
  6. Easy to Assemble: Includes a clear assembly guide with wiring instructions, calibration routine, and Arduino code.

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
