The STM32 Nucleo-144 board provides an affordable and flexible way for users to try out new concepts and build prototypes by choosing from the various combinations of performance and power consumption features, provided by the STM32 microcontroller. For the compatible boards, the internal or external SMPS significantly reduces power consumption in Run mode.

The ST Zio connector, which extends the ARDUINO® Uno V3 connectivity, and the ST morpho headers provide an easy means of expanding the functionality of the Nucleo open development platform with a wide choice of specialized shields.

The STM32 Nucleo-144 board does not require any separate probe as it integrates the ST-LINK debugger/programmer.The STM32 Nucleo-144 board comes with the STM32 comprehensive free software libraries and examples available with the STM32Cube MCU Package.

Features:

  1. Microcontroller Options: STM32 in LQFP144 or TFBGA225 packages.
  2. User Interface:3 user LEDs,2 push-buttons (user and reset)
  3. Oscillator: 32.768 kHz crystal.
  4. Connectivity:ST Zio expansion connector (compatible with ARDUINO® Uno V3),ST Morpho expansion connector.
  5. Power Supply:Flexible options: ST-LINK USB VBUS, USB connector, or external sources.
  6. Software Support:STM32Cube MCU Package with libraries and examples.Compatible with various IDEs (IAR Embedded Workbench®, MDK-ARM, STM32CubeIDE).
  7. Debugging: Integrated ST-LINK debugger/programmer (STLINK/V2-1, STLINK-V3E, STLINK-V3EC).

Specification:

  1. Power Supply Options:Internal/External SMPS: For Vcore logic supply.
  2. Compliance: Available on specific models compliant with IEEE-802.3.

1 x STMICROELECTRONICS NUCLEO-F413ZH Development Board

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
