The Mini MP1584 DC-DC 3A Adjustable Buck module is ultra small adjustable 0.8V to 20V output DC to DC step-down Buck converter that uses an MP1584EN high frequency switching regulator and integrated high voltage power MOSFET. It features a soft start, thermal shutdown, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) to protect the module from operating at insufficient supply voltage. Small size, lightweight, low internal power consumption, and wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V make this module suitable for a variety of different applications where small size and lightweight voltage conversion is needed, including RC cars and airplanes, quadcopters, robotics, Arduino modules, and DIY devices.
Applications:
  1. DIY 8051 / AVR / ARM / PIC / Arduino / Raspberry-Pi projects
  2. Robotics
  3. Breadboard power supply
  4. Manual speed adjustment of small DC motors
  5. Power Supply for RC project planes, cars, helicopters
  6. Universal Battery Elimination Circuit (UBEC) for 2S-6S lipo battery pack
  7. Receiver/servo power supply
  8. Communications equipment power supply
  9. Mobile equipment power supplies
Note: Set voltage using a voltmeter and adjust to proper output voltage before installing in your device. Note:  PCB board color may vary from the actual product.

1 x Mini MP1584 DC-DC 3A Adjustable Buck module

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
