The Soil Sensor JXBS-3001-TR-RS is a high-performance soil moisture and temperature sensor designed for precise measurement of soil conditions. It offers superior accuracy, rapid response, and stable output compared to the German-made original high-precision sensors and traditional soil drying and weighing methods. The sensor is minimally affected by soil salt content, making it suitable for use in all types of soil. It is built for long-term use, capable of being buried in the soil without degradation. Its robust design ensures resistance to long-term electrolysis and corrosion, featuring vacuum potting for enhanced durability and full waterproofing. Additionally, the Soil EC, Water Temperature, pH, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium Seven-in-One Sensor combines multiple parameters—soil moisture, temperature, total salt content (conductivity), pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium—into a single, convenient device. Note: Refer to datasheet in the ATTACHMENTS section for more info. regd. the product.

Features:

  1. Multi-Parameter Measurement: Measures soil moisture, temperature, EC, pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
  2. High Precision & Fast Response: Offers accurate, quick, and stable readings.
  3. Low Sensitivity to Salt: Suitable for all soil types with minimal salt interference.
  4. Durable & Waterproof: Resistant to electrolysis, corrosion, and fully waterproof for long-term use.
  5. Versatile & Reliable: Ideal for agricultural and environmental monitoring, providing comprehensive soil analysis.

Package Includes:

1 x JXBS-3001-TR RS485 4:1 Soil Sensor PH EC Temperature and Moisture

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
