Passive infrared (PIR) sensors use a pair of pyroelectric sensors to detect heat energy in the surrounding environment. The Pyroelectric infrared sensor anti-theft circuit is composed of a pyroelectric infrared sensor PIR, integrated operational amplifier LM393, 110 alarm circuit, and starting delay circuit. The circuit can be protected against theft. When the family leaves the bedroom, switch K1 is closed, and the circuit begins to work. As long as someone enters the room for some time, it will sound the alarm. Passive Infrared Radiation (PIR) sensor detects the change in infrared radiation of a warm-blooded moving object in its detection range.

Features:

  1.  Sensitivity range: up to 20 feet (6 meters) 110° x 70° detection range.
  2. Complete with PIR, Motion Detection.
  3. Dual Element Sensor with Low Noise and High Sensitivity.
  4. Standard TTL Output.

Package Includes:

1 x Human Body Sensing IR Pyroelectric Infrared Sensor Anti-theft Alarm Electronic KIT

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
