The Hi-Link HLK-LD2451, 24GHz Speed Radar Sensor is a high-sensitivity 24GHz mobile vehicle status sensing module developed by Hilink. Its working principle is to use FMCW frequency modulation continuous wave to detect targets within the detection range, combined with radar signal processing, accurate algorithm recognition, to achieve high sensitivity vehicle status detection, can identify vehicles close or far away,and calculate the output target speed, distance, movement direction and other auxiliary information. This Hi-Link HLK-LD2451, 24GHz Speed Radar Sensor  product is mainly used in outdoor scenes, sensing whether there are near or far vehicles in the area, and outputting detection results in real time. The maximum sensing distance is up to 100m. Mobile software is provided to easily configure parameters such as sensing distance, speed, target direction and sensitivity to adapt to different application needs.It supports GPIO and UART output, plug and play, and can be flexibly applied to different intelligent scenarios and terminal products.

Setup Guide

Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.

Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
