HLK-LD1010 is a low-power micro/motion sensing module designed based on X-band radar chip with a center frequency of 10.525GHz. The module is designed with a fixed frequency, directional transmitting and receiving antenna (1T1R), integrating intermediate frequency demodulation, signal amplification and digital processing. It has functions such as delay setting, adjustable sensing range and light intensity detection, which makes it convenient for customers to adjust parameters independently. It has the advantages of not penetrating walls, anti-interference, small size, good clutter and high-order harmonic suppression, high stability and consistency, etc. This product is suitable for embedded concealed installation, is not affected by temperature/humidity, oil smoke, water mist, etc., and can be widely used in various types of lamps, such as bulbs Lights, downlights, ceiling lights, etc.; there are also some low-power application scenarios, such as video doorbells, cat eyes, door locks, low-power cameras, etc.

Features:

  1. This product is positioned for micro/motion sensing scene applications
  2. Ceiling installation, 3dB beam width: 110°±10°
  3. Sensing distance: hanging height 2-4m (sensing radius), wall hanging 2-6 meters (radial)

Package Includes:

1 x Hi-Link HLK-LD1010, 10GHz Motion Detection Radar Sensor

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
