CubeCell (TM) is a new product series made by Heltec team, mainly for LoRa/LoRaWAN node applications. CubeCell (TM) series is based on ASR605x (ASR6501, ASR6502), those chips are already integrated with the PSoC® 4000 series MCU (ARM® Cortex® M0+ Core) and SX1262. We have done a lot of migration and development, making it perfectly Arduino-Compatible®, can run the LoRaWAN protocol stably, on-board 1/2 AA battery holder allow users use a battery easily. HTCC-AB02A is a Dev-Board. Friendly designed for developers, easy to verify communication solutions.

Features:

  1. Perfect Arduino-Compatible!
  2. CE and FCC certification;
  3. Based on ASR605x (ASR6501, ASR6502), those chips are already integrated the PSoC® 4000 series MCU (ARM® Cortex® M0+ Core) and SX1262;
  4. LoRaWAN 1.0.2 support;
  5. Ultra low power design, 3.5uA in deep sleep;
  6. 1/2 AA battery shell, use 1/2 AA Lithium chlorine sulfite battery (this battery can’t charge, but onboard USB / battery power automatic switching allows connect USB when the battery is assembled);
  7. Good impendence matching and long communication distance.
  8. Micro USB interface with complete ESD protection, short circuit protection, RF shielding, and other protection measures;

Setup Guide

1
Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.
2
Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
3
Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.
4
Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.
5
Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
