Itcan drill holes for 7 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm dowels. With optional Drill Bushings (ID 1886367) it can drill holes for 4 mm, 5 mm and 6 mm dowels too.

The thicknesses are written in metric on this amazing product. But it's only to match the dead center of the material, wich is not crucial at all and could even lead to mistakes sometimes. In my opinion you may use
                                                                                                                    this product perfectly as long as you have metric drillbits and metric dowels. So handy, I use it all the time and more than my Festool Domino !

Question 8

What is the distance from the edge to the center of the hole for drilling the hole cam. In Europe the standard size is 34 mm. What is yours? Will it work with our established Minifix system?

I intended to use Scheulenburg connectors with this template. Their steel dowels need the borehole but at 34 mm and the template has 33 mm. This is not possible for the Scheulenburg connectors, the 1 mm is definitely missing. I
                                                                                                                    solve this with a 1mm spring steel pad over the entire plate width, through which I drill 2 - 6mm where the mounting screws connect the plates. That would have to solve the problem. How this works for Rastex without underlay, I do not know, according to the dimensional drawings of Rastex 15 they also need 34 mm.

What is the center-to-center distance between the three drilling holes on the 3 in 1 Dowel Jig?   The reason I ask:  would one be able to utilize  all three holes to drill along the short edge of a conventional 1X4 (which actually measure 3/4 x 3-1/2)?  I tried to determine this from the website, but the schematic doesn't show the distance between holes.  And every single photograph provided by users either shows how the jig has worked along the broad face of plywood panel or along the long edge of a board, and not along the short edge.  This is not a criticism; I  just want to know what the jig is capable of.
