can these be used for mortises in normal router?

although this product info says nothing about the intended material for their product, I think this coating is for aluminum. correct? how does this coating work for high carbon steel? has anyone actually used this product? or are you all a bunch of noob losers who only give it 5/5 stars, and put it in a drawer and never use it? thanks.
