The Digilent MCC 152: Voltage Output and DIO DAQ HAT  features two channels of analog voltage output and eight digital I/O for Raspberry Pi-based systems. The 12-bit voltage outputs feature a 0-5 V range and can be updated at up to 5 kS/s. Up to eight MCC HATs can be stacked onto one Raspberry Pi. All DIO DAQ HAT s include C/C++® and Python™ examples and open-source library. Comprehensive API and hardware documentation are also provided. There are five devices in the MCC DAQ HAT Series. Models are available with voltage inputs, thermocouple inputs, IEPE-based sensor inputs, analog outputs, and digital I/O allowing users to configure multifunction, Raspberry Pi-based data logger solutions. Raspberry Pi is not included with the MCC 152.

Setup Guide

Identify the pins
Locate VCC (power), GND (ground), and data pins (SDA/SCL for I2C, MOSI/MISO for SPI, or TX/RX for UART). Refer to the pinout diagram on the product page.

Wire to your microcontroller
Connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V (check the module spec), GND to GND, and data pins to the appropriate GPIO pins on your Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

Install libraries
In Arduino IDE, go to Sketch → Include Library → Manage Libraries and search for the sensor library. Install the recommended version.

Upload example sketch
Open File → Examples → [library name] → Basic Example. Upload to your board and open Serial Monitor to view output.

Calibrate if needed
Some sensors (temperature, humidity, distance) may need a short warm-up period or calibration. Run the calibration sketch if provided.
