Does the LED only work with 12V or does it work with less then 12V too?

LED's generally have a lower voltage limit and will just switch off below it. Not tried this one but you may get down to 8v before it goes off . What voltage do you want

It is Momentary Switch. Push on and off when you release.

I know this is an old question, but for others that stumble upon this.Never use this button directly to the starter, but you could place it in front of a relay, that in turn is connected to the starter.
