CD4049UBE is a six-fold inverting CMOS buffer/converter in a 16-pin DIP package. The device provides logic level conversion with a supply voltage (VCC). The input high-level signal (VIH) may exceed the supply voltage VCC when the device is used for logic-level conversions. The CD4049UBE device is designed for use as a CMOS to DTL/TTL converter and can directly drive two DTL/TTL loads. Typical applications include six-fold CMOS to DTL/TTL converters, CMOS current drivers (sink or source), and CMOS high to low logic level conversion converters.
