Your electric fuel pump works continuously & this bypass regulator passes excess fuel back into the tank so the pump can run freely. 4. This is a popular fuel supply solution for fuel injection (EFI / FI) retrofits and for swaps to modern engines like the GM Gen III and Gen IV V8 engines in 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, and 6.2 displacement: LS1, LS2, LS3, L76, L98, L77, LY6, LFA, LZ1, LY2, L20, LH6, LS4, LSX, etc. Commonly used in LSX swap. Suitable for primary fuel supply to newer LT1 DGI. Not for the 1990s era LT1! Not recommended for dual pump setups.
