Question 1

(?There is no Bluetooth 6.0 yet, is it?) So it is possible to do Auracast with this? / BIS = broadcast to many BT-headphones at once? Which headphones are compatible?

Accepted Answer

Bluetooth 6.0 is already available. It supports BIS/CIS/LC3, but can only transmit audio to multiple wired headphones simultaneously. It is only compatible with wired headphones or wired speakers, and any wired headphone is compatible.

Question 2

How to pair it directly to bluetooth headset? I bought it to transmit audio from input AUX to my wireless headset, but I dont see a way to do that.

It is impossible to pair and connect with the Bluetooth headphones. The output can only be through a wired device. There are three usage scenarios: 1. CIS Bluetooth receiving mode: Bluetooth-enabled devices such as mobile phones and pad transmit through

RX mode, which requires two LE523 devices. One AUX connects to a TV, computer device, and the other AUX connects to a wired speaker/headphone. 3. BIS broadcasting mode: Requires two or more LE523 devices. Specific operations can be found in the manual.

Question 3

I paired it with both phone and PC, but in all cases it's only recognized as headphones – no sound goes through the mic. Tried all settings I could find, no luck.

Please refer to the usage method of BIS(BroadCast TX) Mode in the manual. Two LE523 devices are needed. Set the first LE523 to BIS mode for TX output, set the second LE523 to RX as the receiver, and insert the
                                                                                                                    provided earphones into the OUT interface. After the connection is completed, the first LE523 can be switched to MIC in BIS mode. If there are multiple LE523s, they can be connected to multiple RX receiving devices simultaneously.

I understand it well that the_LE523 does not have a direct_function of broadcasting audio_from a source, e.g. radio to a_bluetooth speaker, but I have to_use 2 pieces of LE523, one of_the sound sources will be the_transmitter via the headphone_output and the other will be_connected to the speaker via the_AUX input and they will pair only_with each other?
