Can someone explain to me why this controller can only be used in lead acid batteries: OPEN, AGM, GEL, and not in lithium ions?

Can you set the voltage output for charging battery. And if so what is the voltage range? If you can set it around 12.6V then you should be able to use it for li-on battery pack as long as you use a BMS to balance the batteries.
